#Spring is an exceptional time for #trekking in some parts of the #Himalayas. Not only #rhododendron (which are my #topicoftheweek now) #flowers are in #bloom but other are abundant too! This is the Nepalese paper #plant - Daphne bholua, of the #AnnapurnaConservationArea photographed in March 2015 on the #trek to the #Annapurna #BaseCamp.

Arrived at #Jaipur, #India today. But the next trip is to the #EverestRegion of #Nepal, where #rhododendron #flower-s will be in full #bloom in mid-April. Those were photographed in #SagarmathaNationalPark in April 2015, just a week before the devastating earthquake.
